Model Academy celebrates 78th Independence Day

Model Academy celebrated the 78th Independence Day with immense passion, warmth, zeal, and patriotism, marking this significant occasion that honors the birth of our nation and the values it upholds. The celebration featured a variety of activities aimed at instilling a sense of unity, brotherhood, and patriotism among the students.
The event began with the momentous unfurling of the National Flag, followed by a Scouts and Guides & NCC Parade. Students showcased their love for the nation through various performances, including patriotic songs, character portrayals, poetry recitations, and group dances. The atmosphere was electrified with pride, patriotism, and a deep sense of nationalism as the students' voices echoed throughout the venue.
Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director of MIER, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She praised the students and teachers for their vibrant performances. In her special message, Chairperson Dr. Renu Gupta inspired the Modelites to carry forward the values of freedom, equality, and justice, urging them to uphold the Constitution and protect the rights of every individual.
The event was also attended by other distinguished guests, including Dr. Adit Gupta, Director MIER, Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, Principal, Mr. J.K. Dhiman, Vice-Principal, Manager Academics of different wings, faculty members, and students from both branches of the school.
A special performance by guest alumna Ms. Vidhi Jaiswal captivated the audience, as her melodious voice filled the atmosphere with joy and love for the country. The program was skillfully anchored by Sidhaya and Prabhleen, with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Swati Gupta. The event was coordinated by the music and dance departments and was conceptualized by Ms. Nisha Arora, Convener of CCA, along with Co-Convener Ms. Neetu Bhardwaj.
