REMEDIAL AND ENRICHMENT CLASSES
The school takes initiative in organising remedial classes from time to time considering the children come from diverse family backgrounds. The classes are designed in order to achieve expected competencies in core academic skills such as literacy and numeracy. Remedial instructions provide support and motivation to struggling learners, reinforce their basic skills and reduce the gap between what a student knows and what he's expected to know. Teachers with their strong pedagogical background and in depth content knowledge re-teach the ongoing concepts or clear up doubts in the extra classes. They identify students from each class with utmost care and work upon their learning and attention issues. The emphasis is more on the growth and progress of the children with special learning requirements. Similarly, the enrichment classes are held for students in the main subjects to help them reach the pinnacle of new heights in their academics
REPROGRAPHY CELL, BANK & CANTEEN
Reprography Cell
The section provides Publishing Facilities, Xeroxing, Cyclostyling, Photocopying, Duplicating and Lamination facilities to students and staff. This section is geared for providing full DTP facilities to students and staff in line with modern trends.
Bank
A full fledged branch of the Punjab National Bank functions in the school campus. This helps in providing all finance related facilities to both teachers and students. Special incentives are provided by the bank for students to open their accounts in the branch.
Canteen
The school canteen provides a wide range of healthy and wholesome food at reasonable rates for the students and Teachers. There is a well laid out seating arrangement for the students along with over the counter service for food items.
RFID - SMART ATTENDANCE SYSTEM
The school has an automated system for recording attendance of the students based on RFID technology, which is a set of RFID tools and specialised software. Our school has been working on smart attendance system for the last four years, so that children can be monitored and tracked from anywhere to ensure their security and safety. RFID student attendance system is used for both students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. The RFID technology is designed to help schools and parents /guardians to deal with problems of truancy/absenteeism. Parents get an instant SMS notification on their mobile phones as soon as their child enters/exits the school. Children are given smart ID card which is automatically detected by the RFID transponder at the entrance of the school. The system recognises the card and sends a notification to the parents. It helps both schools and parents to monitor and ensure their child's attendance and safety.
MI ROOM
There is a well-equipped dispensary in School manned by a registered medical practitioner that provides free first aid treatment and keeps track of students requiring follow-up and reference to specialist. Parents are kept fully informed regarding a student's health not only in the case of major concerns but also in case of minor ailments. There is also a provision of annual medical check-up of all students. Besides this, doctors from various reputed hospitals keep visiting the school for varied check-up of the students and health talk.
TRANSPORTATION
School has its own fleet of buses plying on different routes fixed by the school authorities for the convenience of the students coming from many localities in and on the periphery of Jammu City. Parents are advised to check up with the office at the time of admission/registration/new session, regarding the availability of transport for his / her ward and charges thereof. These facilities are being provided on yearly basis and no discontinuation in mid session is permissible.
SAFETY, SECURITY AND SANITISATION
The school gives utmost priority to the safety of all children. Each staff undergoes background checks. Round-the-clock security of the campus is ensured through CCTV cameras coverage manned by trained security personnel. Chief security officer is posted to oversee day to day operations. Additionally the premises are regularly and thoroughly sanitised.
