Model Academy, a prestigious school of MIER, participated in 'Negotium Agon,' the annual inter-school business fest hosted by Wynberg Allen in Mussoorie on July 27, 2024.
The event aimed to provide budding entrepreneurs with a platform to share their creative and innovative ideas with other young business enthusiasts from across the country.
Five students from the school—Aman Khajuria, Aditya Raina, Assad Malik, Athrav Gupta, and Arman Gupta along with faculty member Mrs. Mukul Arora, took part in innovative and challenging events like Tender De Auction, Business Quiz, Viral Video Showdown, Instagram Post-Making, and the Stock Exchange.
With 43 schools from across the country participating, Model Academy students distinguished themselves by winning prestigious awards. Aman Khajuria received the Outstanding Award, Aditya Raina secured two runner-up awards in the auction round and vine video, and Assad Malik also picked up runner-up awards in the same categories.
The spirit of clean, wholesome competition prevailed, and the audience, comprising teachers and students from participating schools, applauded the performances wholeheartedly.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Director MIER, along with Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director, Principal and Vice Principal Mr. P.K. Srivastava and Mr. J.K. Dhiman, congratulated the team. They emphasized the importance of confidence, gaining experience, showcasing skills, and analyzing and uncovering personal aptitude to achieve greater heights.
Overall, the event proved to be a great learning experience for the students.
