Interact Club
Model Academy has become the first school in J&K State to setup an 'Interact Club', which is Rotary International's service club for young people in the age group of 12 to 18 years. This club has been setup in association with Rotary Club Jammu.
Through their service activities, Interactors learn the importance of leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrate helpfulness and respect for others, understand the value of individual responsibility and hard work and advance international understanding and goodwill.
Heritage Club
The Heritage Club of the school organises various activities in collaboration with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). The aim of this club is to inculcate respect and affection for heritage and concern for its protection and conservation among school children. The students are engaged in outdoor play activities, cultural events, picnics and extra-curricular subjects involving drawing and painting of cultural sites.
ECO Club
The Eco Club of the school has forged alliances with Paryavaran Mitra-Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Ministry of Forest and Environment and World Wild life Federation of India and other agencies with a goal to create groups of responsible individuals who have knowledge, awareness and commitment to meet the challenges of nature conservation, environmental protection and related issues. Different activities are organised in collaboration with these agencies.
Drama Club
The school has formed a Drama Club to provide a platform to channelise the untapped potential of our budding artists in dramatics. A large number of students enthusiastically participate in thought provoking and entertaining plays on different occasions. Students gain confidence by giving public performances and by emoting their feelings.
