Dr. Arun K Gupta, M.A (English), M.Ed. (Gold Medalist), Ph.D is the Chairperson of Board of Directors of Model Institute of Education and Research (MIER). He is widely regarded as the ' Father ' of private educational enterprise in J&K and has championed the cause of quality education over his 35 year career. He is an acclaimed researcher and an authority in the field of creativity, school and higher education and psychology.
Dr. Renu Gupta, M.A (Psychology), M.Ed., Ph.D, is the Director, Model Institute of Education and Research and Principal, MIER College of Education. She is dealing with Policy Planning, Administration, Training, Research and Teaching. She has many publications and research papers to her credit. She is a national level trainer for the empowerment of women under UGC and also Director Centre for Women Studies.
Dr. C.L.Kundu, M.A (Psychology), M.Ed., Ph.D (T.D.P North western U.S.A) has served as the Professor of Education, Kurukshetra University. He has also served as the Vice-Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh University and remained as Advisor Rehabilitation Council of India for a number of years. Dr. Kundu is a member of several prestigious national and International bodies and is a prolific writer and a researcher.
Dr. Bhim Singh Dahiya, M.A. (English), Ph.D (University of Cincinnati, USA) is a renowned educationist and former Vice-Chancellor, Kurukshetra (1993-96). He has served as the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, Registrar, M.D. University, Rohtak and a member, Governing body, United States Educational Foundation in the India. He has also served as the Professor of English, Kurukshetra University and M.D. Rohtak University.
Dr. Y.R. Malhotra, M.Sc., Ph.D & Fulbright-Hays Fellow (University of Minnesota, U.S.A) is a renowned educationist and former Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu. He has also been the Member J&K Legislative Council (MLC). Prof. Malhotra is also a member of various academic and professional bodies. He has also received numerous awards at national and international levels.
Prof. Rameshchandra. G .Kothari
Prof. R.G. Kothari, M.Sc., M.Ed., Ph.D is a distinguished educationist and is Professor and Dean at the Department of Education-CASE, M.S University, Vadodra. He has also remained the Vice Chancellor of the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat from June 2005-2008. With over 37 years of teaching and research experience Prof. Kothari is a well know figure in the educational community and has served on top level committees of the UGC and the government on educational reforms.
Prof. Janak Raj Rathore, M.A. Mathematics, D.P.A is a renowned educator. He has also been the Professor of Mathematics in J&K Govt. Education Deptt., Secretary J&K Board of School Education, Director School Education J&K Govt. and Chairman J&K Board of School Education. He has also worked as Registrar, University of Jammu and Director Colleges Development, University of Jammu.
Prof. Abdul Aziz, M.A, B.T, L.L.B, H.P., E.E.T&P (London) is one of the senior most educationist of J&K State and is currently the Chief Advisor, Model Institute of Education and Research (MIER) Jammu. Prof. Aziz has enjoyed high positions during his professional career. He has 65 years of teaching and administrative experience at the School and College Level.
Dr. Adit Gupta, is the Joint Director of Model Institute of Education and Research (MIER). He has a Ph.D in the area of 'Learning Environments' from Curtin University, Australia and a double Masters in Education and Psychology. He is also an alumnus of the 'International Visitors Leadership Programme' of the US Government. Dr. Gupta was also conferred the prestigious 'Endeavour Executive Award' of the Australian Govt. He has over 18 Years of experience at the school and college of education level.
Dr. Ankur Gupta, B.E. Computer Sciences and MS Software Systems degrees BITS, Pilani and Ph.D from the National Institute of Technology, is the Joint Director at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jammu India, besides being a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to joining the academia, he worked as a Technical Team Lead at Hewlett Packard.
