Tata Edge Smart Class Training

A two-day enriching training program on Tata Edge Smart Class was organised on 10th and 11th July 2025, aimed at enhancing digital proficiency among faculty and integrating technology into everyday teaching practices.
The sessions were led by Mr. Mahesh Sharma, Area Academic Trainer at Tata
Edge, who holds over 12 years of experience in academic training and facilitation.
His sessions reflected clarity, depth, and a learner-centric approach, making the training highly interactive and impactful.
The first day of the training began with a welcome address by Mrs. Neetu
Bhardwaj, who highlighted the significance of adopting modern tools in pedagogy. On the second day, the session was formally opened by Ms. Jyotika Bedi, who appreciated the momentum built on the first day and encouraged teachers to explore the features further.
Mr. Sharma provided a comprehensive overview of Tata Edge, a digital learning solution designed specifically for K–12 education, which aims to enhance classroom delivery through technology-enabled strategies and interactive tools. The training covered a wide array of essential components, teachers were oriented to the platform’s features and functionalities, gaining insight into its interface and instructional design. Emphasis was laid on interactive lesson delivery using subject-specific digital content aligned with curriculum standards.
Teachers explored the use of visual tools to improve classroom engagement and
conceptual understanding. The session also focused on creating structured lesson
plans and monitoring student performance in real-time through built-in tracking systems. Strategies for differentiated instruction and inclusive learning were discussed to ensure that diverse learner needs are effectively met. Furthermore, the integration of pedagogical best practices with digital tools was highlighted as a core approach to strengthening classroom delivery. The training was further enriched with live simulations and hands-on practice sessions, providing teachers with practical exposure to the smart class environment.
The training program concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Divya Rathore, Training Incharge, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mahesh Sharma for his insightful sessions and patient guidance. The session was also acknowledged for its smooth execution, collaboration, and the enthusiastic participation of the faculty.
