



A teacher training workshop was organised on 3rd July 2025 aimed at promoting professional enhancement and academic innovation. Mrs. Manju Vali, Manager Academic, welcomed the participants and highlighted the objectives of the
workshop in developing practical strategies for implementing active learning in the classroom.
Principal, Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, conducted an enriching and highly interactive session on the topic “Active Learning. The session began with a concise introduction to the concept of active learning and its growing significance in 21st century classrooms, encouraging teachers to embrace pedagogical advancements. His presentation delineated various models of active learning, such as collaborative learning, case-based discussions, and concept mapping. The workshop also featured practical activities like group problem-solving, jigsaw tasks, classroom simulations, think-pair-share exercises, role- playing, interactive questioning, and the integration of multimedia tools. These engagements offered teachers valuable insights into frameworks that promote deeper learning and sustained student interest. Real classroom scenarios, practical tips, and interactive elements made the session highly engaging. He also addressed common challenges and offered effective solutions for implementing these strategies across different subjects. Faculty members showed great enthusiasm and shared positive feedback, expressing their commitment to integrating active learning techniques into their teaching practices.
The programme was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Divya Rathore, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Pooja Mishra, Academic Manager, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the principal for the enriching session and acknowledged the dedication of all participants.
