Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER organised an orientation programme on Integrated Payment System for Principals, Representatives of schools and IT faculty across Jammu and Samba under the aegis of CBSE, COE, Chandigarh.
The objective of the orientation was to appraise the educators about the integrated payment system which has been developed by CBSE for making all payments/honorarium and TA/DA to all the stakeholders through digital mode.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, Principal, Model Academy and District Coordinator, Jammu was the resource person. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Srivastava said as education system is increasingly responding to new societal, economic, and digital needs, schools are on the front line of change. He stressed that the newly developed system has digitally transformed a previously manual and time-consuming system into an efficient system that is devoid of human error. He also explained the various steps involved in the process.
The doubt clearing session was jointly addressed by the resource person and Mr. J. k Dhiman, Vice Principal. Mr. Rajesh Rathore, Principal, J.K Public School, Kunjwani and President Jammu Sahodaya in his address said that leaders and educators need to be positive, explore various digital and technological initiatives and learn to do research which would be beneficial for students. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Manju Vali, convener CCA.
