NCC Annual Training Camp was organized by 1 J&K Naval Unit NCC Srinagar under the command of Captain Kapil Sharma.
02 girls and 02 boys’ cadets of Model Academy attended the camp from 03.06.2022 to10.07.2022.
All the cadets were provided training in various fields like, parade training boat pulling, firing and theoretical training - like organizing of NCC, types of ward ships branches of Navy and their functions, leadership qualities, national integration, weapon training, health and hygiene environmental and social awareness etc. They also took part in the cultural activities viz., singing, dancing and sports activities Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball etc. 3 cadets of Model Academy namely, Gurleen, Kanahiya and Kalash have received medals in Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Painting respectively.
350 cadets of the camp participated in the “Har Ghar Tiranga Rally”. The cadets under the guidance group commander, Brig. Kuldeep Kalsi took out a rally with 50ft long Tiranga under the theme “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” The aim of the rally was to create awareness among the students about the importance of Har Ghar Tiraanga initiative taken out by our honorable prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi. The objective of the camp was to inculcate values of leadership, discipline and team spirit among the cadets.
