Model Academy School Hosts Spectacular Annual Sports Meet Celebrating Inclusivity and Sporting Excellence
Model Academy School, a beacon of education and holistic development, successfully organized its Annual Sports Meet on November 18, 2023. The event was a testament to the school's commitment to fostering not only athletic prowess but also inclusivity across all levels of education, featuring participants from the pre-primary, primary, and inclusive school.
The school's sprawling sports grounds witnessed an exhilarating display of skill, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship as students from diverse backgrounds came together to compete in a variety of exciting races. The Annual Sports Meet served as a platform for students to showcase their talents, build camaraderie, and embrace the spirit of healthy competition.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Director MIER graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mrs. Rupa Gupta Jt. Director as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Gupta declared the Sports Meet open with an inspiring address to the young athletes, encouraging them to embrace the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork and motivated students to aim for greatness in both sports and academics.
The torch, symbolizing the spirit of competition and sportsmanship, was lit by the sports captains, creating a powerful visual representation of unity and shared goals.
Under the watchful guidance of dedicated sports convener, Mrs. Nisha Sharma, and physical instructors, Mr. Imran Ahmed and Mr. Sahil the Annual Sports Meet showcased a diverse array of races designed to test the agility, endurance, and teamwork of the participating students. The races that captivated the audience's attention included: Animal race, balloon pop race, relay race, ring on the cone, pyramid building race, super hero race, balancing race, cycling race, hockey ball race, fruit market race, butterfly race and hurdle race. An energetic and thrilling aerobic dance performance kept audience on their feet. The dance was conceptualised by Ms. Mohini.
The event was graced by the presence of school dignitaries, staff and students who cheered on the young participants with enthusiasm and encouragement. The inclusive nature of the Sports Meet emphasized the school's commitment to providing a supportive environment for students of all abilities.
