World Book Day

The students of Model Academy school, are constantly exposed to a variety of enriching experiences both in the field of academics and co-curricular activities. The school always commemorates special days that are celebrated on a global platform. One such event was the ‘World Book Day’ that was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the theme ‘Indigenous Languages' which focuses on the rich cultural heritage and promotion of diversity in native languages of a country.
A special assembly was organised wherein students and teachers participated in numerous activities like, ‘My life my story,’ pleasure of reading books which aimed at honing the communication skills and enhancing the vocabulary of students.
Mrs. Renu Sharma, librarian apprised the students about up keep of books and talked about renowned authors. Story telling session was also conducted in primary wing.
Principal, Mr P.K.Srivastava, in his address inspired the students to become readers and creative thinkers. He further advised them to develop reading as a habit. Vice-principal, Mr.J.K.Dhiman advised the students to enrich their vocabulary by reading good literature.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Manju Vali and Mrs. Samta Dogra convener and co- convener of CCA along with Mrs. Arti Khajuria and Mrs. Priyanka Malhotra incharges, Einstein House.
