REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

"A Nations Culture Resides in the Hearts And in the Soul Of its People."
The students of Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER went virtual, letting their patriotic spirits soar high like never before.The modelites set an example that no kind of impediment could stop them from paying tributes to their nation.
Marking the freedom and glory of the nation, the school celebrated 73rd Republic Day with great gusto and patriotic zeal. A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students. Special performances by parents and teachers added colours to the occasion.
The theme of this year’s Republic Day 2022 is "India@75” to commemorate 75 years of progressive India and it also aims at connecting the youth to our rich cultural heritage.
The ocassion was graced by Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director MIER as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present were Dr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, Principal, Mr.J.K Dhiman Vice-Principal, Manager Academics, faculty members, parents and students of both the branches.
Mrs. Rupa Gupta in her address applauded the efforts of the students, teachers and parents for their scintillating performances . She inspired the modelites to abide by the constitution of their motherland and fulfill all the duties as responsible citizens.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava congratulated everyone on the occasion. He further said that this day teaches that some wars can be won with non- violence, it makes us value and cherish the freedom we have today.
Mr. J.K. Dhiman in his address said it is our responsibility as proud citizens of our great nation, to sincerely perform our duties and progress together for the growth and development of our country.
Indeed it was a day of elation, a day of love and respect for the country, instilling in the modelites the value of freedom.
The programme was anchored by Muskan Gupta. Welcome address was presented by Khyrul Nisa Vice-Head Girl of the schools and formal vote of thanks was proposed by Saksham Vice-Head Boy.
The programme was coordinated and conceptualised by Mrs. Manju Vali, Convener CCA, Mrs. Samta Dogra and Mrs. Suman Singh.
