Christmas and New Year is a festivity of joy, sharing and giving. To spread this message amongst one and all, Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER celebrated Christmas and New Year virtually with great gusto and enthusiasm.
The occasion was graced by Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint director MIER as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present were Dr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava Principal, Mr.J K Dhiman, Vice-Principal, Manager Academics, Incharge Residency Road, faculty members, parents and students of both the branches.
To mark the celebrations, a virtual assemblage of events took place The audience was enthralled by the myriad presentations of Christmas stories, carols, group songs and dance performance by students and parents.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Rupa Gupta congratulated the cultural deptt for the mesmerising presentations and also wished that the festival of Christmas and new year fills everyone's life with new hope, positivity, joy and good health. Dr. Adit Gupta Director, MIER also sent his special blessings and impressed upon everyone that along with the celebrations we should not forget to stick to the essential aspects of mankind.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava applauded the efforts of the students, teachers and parents for their marvellous performances. He said we should believe in humanity, compassion and selfless service of mankind.
Marushika Suri, Head Girl of the school extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and Dhruv Lamba, Head Boy presented a formal vote of thanks on the occasion.
The event was anchored by Mrs. Samta Dogra along with Bhoomi Bandral and Sanjeevni Pandita.
