Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER organised an orientation programme for parents of all new admission children with an aim to acquaint them with the working system at the school and to get introduced to their children’s new teachers, curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.
Principal Mr. P.K. Srivastava elucidated the school’s vision, mission, and philosophy. He appreciated the parents for their trust in the institution and assured them of the best nurturing environment for children under the tutelage of qualified and experienced staff. Further, he gave a complete run-through of how a child spends time at school, emphasising a learning system that identifies each child’s specific skill set and fosters motivation.
Vice-Principal, Mr. J.K. Dhiman elaborated on co-scholastic activities and the self-directed curriculum promoting holistic development.
Later, during an interactive session the subject teachers gave an overview of the various subjects that would be undertaken in the year ahead. The orientation program served as a crucial platform for students, parents, and school authorities to connect and plan for the upcoming academic session.
