World Heritage Day

Model Academy celebrated World Heritage Day with great fervor and enthusiasm, aiming to instill a deep appreciation for India’s rich cultural and historical legacy among students and teachers. The event was a harmonious blend of tradition, creativity, and youthful energy.
The celebration commenced with a thought-provoking address by Aradhaya Hakku, a student of Class 10, who eloquently highlighted the importance of preserving our heritage and the role young minds play in safeguarding it for future generations.
A vibrant cultural dress presentation followed, where students from Classes 6 to 8 showcased the diverse cultural attire of India’s states, bringing the country’s unity in diversity to life.
A painting competition organized for members of the Heritage Club. Students displayed exceptional talent and creativity while illustrating themes such as “Heritage Sites of India” and “Types of Indian Paintings.”
Winners of the Painting Competition were:
•1st Prize – Myra Gupta- 7th A
•2nd Prize – Geenia-8th B
•3rd Prize – Avmanjeevan Kour-8th B
The event was expertly coordinated by Ms.Nisha Arora convener CCA, Ms. Preeti Trisal, teacher-in-charge of the INTACH Club, along with her enthusiastic team—Ms. Aakrti, Mr. Naresh Singh, and Ms. Mohini Thappa.
