The J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides organized the Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp at Mayur Public School, Jhirri, Jammu, from December 20 to 22, 2024. A total of 185 Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers participated in the camp to undergo the Rajya Puraskar Testing.
Model Academy School was represented by 13 Scouts and Guides, who attended under the guidance of Mr. Imran, the school’s Physical Instructor. The camp was inaugurated by the Principal of Mayur Public School, who commended the enthusiasm and dedication of the young participants. The testing process included both written and practical components.
The closing ceremony was graced by Wg. Comdr. M.M. Joshi, National Commissioner HQ for Special Programs and State Commissioner AR(s), J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides, along with Mtr. Nasreen Khan, Deputy National Commissioner (Guides) and State Secretary cum Administrative Officer, J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides. They extended their blessings and best wishes to all the participants.
The camp was conducted under the leadership of Shri R.P. Kotwal (STC), Smt. Manjeet Kour (JSTC), Shri K.L. Sharma (HQ Commissioner), Smt. Ranjana Gandatora (District Secretary), Smt. Neelam Gupta (LT-G), Ms. Neeru Talwar (ALT), Shri Madan Lal (State Trainer), Shri Imran Ahmed (HWB), and Smt. Uma Jamwal (ALT), along with other staff members from various units in District Jammu and Samba.
