Model Academy proudly observed World Labour Day on May 1st, 2025, with a series of thoughtful activities aimed at honoring the contributions of workers across all sectors. Students and staff came together to express their appreciation for the dedication and hard work of school support staff, maintenance teams, and community workers.
The event featured speeches by students and teachers, themed cards created by students of primary wing, and a special recognition ceremony for non-teaching staff. Ms. Ravinder, support staff of the school shared her heartfelt and emotional connection and journey with the Model Academy School and paid her gratitude towards Ms.Renu Gupta , chairperson MIER. Students made cards for the staff members and showed their appreciation and respect for them.
The celebration served as a valuable reminder of the dignity of labour and the importance of respect for all professions.
Mr. Jk Dhiman, vice-principal highlighted the role of education in fostering respect for workers and instilling social responsibility in students. The day concluded with a pledge by students to uphold the values of fairness, gratitude, and hard work in their everyday lives.
