Model Academy celebrated World Book Day on 28th April 2025 with great enthusiasm, highlighting the vital role books play in shaping minds and opening doors to endless experiences. The day was dedicated to fostering a lifelong love for reading through a series of thoughtfully curated activities.
The theme for the celebration, “Read Your Way,” resonated throughout the school as students actively participated in public speaking sessions and short skits centered around the idea “Love Books as Your Friend.” The Primary Wing students, under the guidance of Library Teacher Ms. Renu, brought the theme to life through a heartwarming play that highlighted books as gateways to knowledge and imagination.
Principal Mr. P.K. Srivastava addressed the gathering, stressing that reading is a lifelong investment with immeasurable returns. He described books as faithful companions and encouraged both students and educators to make reading a daily habit.
The event proved to be a perfect blend of fun and learning, leaving students inspired to explore more literary treasures. It was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing a reading culture.
Members of the Einstein House, in collaboration with the Art Department, played a key role in the successful execution of the event. The celebration was coordinated by Ms. Neetu Bhardwaj, Co-Convener CCA.
