Model Academy hosted a heartfelt farewell ceremony on February 10th to honour the outgoing Class 12 batch of 2024-25. The event was a beautiful blend of nostalgia and celebration, marking the culmination of years spent learning, growing, and forging lifelong memories.
The farewell began with a warm welcome by Anshleen Kour of Class 11, who expressed gratitude to the seniors for their contributions to the school and encouraged them to step into the future with confidence and determination. The evening was filled with emotional speeches, cultural performances, and engaging activities that made it truly memorable.
A highlight of the event was the Title Conferring Ceremony, followed by an enchanting dance performance by Vaani Thakur and a soulful musical rendition by Mehak Sharma of Class 12. Laughter echoed through the hall during a stand-up comedy act, adding to the joy of the occasion. Dressed in their finest attire, students enjoyed music, games, and camaraderie. Aryan Gupta and Suvarcha Sharma were recognized as Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female, respectively.
In a heartfelt address, the Head Boy and Head Girl of the outgoing batch shared their experiences, expressing deep gratitude for the school’s unwavering support and guidance. The most awaited moment of the evening was the selection of Mr. and Ms. Modelite, judged by Ms. Jasleen Mohial (Coordinator, IQAC), Dr. Bharti Tandon (HOD, School Education), and Dr. Nandani Puri (Assistant Professor, MIER College of Education). Aman Khajuria and Sanjeevni Pandita earned the prestigious titles.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Director of MIER, extended his best wishes to the graduating students, urging them to make their alma mater proud. He shared valuable advice on harnessing their energy, faith, and talents to seize every opportunity. Ms. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director, also blessed the students, wishing them success in their future endeavors. Principal Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava and Vice Principal Mr. J.K. Dhiman emphasized the importance of time management, perseverance, and staying focused on their goals.
