Annual Sports Day

Model Academy celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 19th October, 2024, bringing together students and teachers for a day brimming with energy, competition, and camaraderie. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering physical education and sportsmanship among its students.
Ms. Nisha Kumari Sharma (PTI) presented bouquets as a gesture of respect and affection to the special guest, Dr. Renu Gupta (Chairperson MIER), the chief guest, Dr. Adit Gupta (Director MIER), and the guest of honour, Ms. Rupa Gupta (Joint Director MIER).
The event commenced with a splendid march-past by the NCC cadets, reflecting precision and discipline. This was followed by captivating performances from the Inclusive School Wing, where students from diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs, participated in events such as the 50-meter walk with their favourite toy, a kite race, and an animal race.
Students from Humming Bud, the preschool, charmed everyone with their spirited performances, including the monster race, arranging numbers race, and hurdle race.
The primary wing students from both branches—B.C. Road and R.R. Branch—took part in various sports activities such as relay races, chair races, balancing hockey races, and the exciting gorilla race, showcasing their dedication and school spirit.
A major highlight of the day was the aerobics performance, where students enthusiastically moved to rhythmic musical beats, filling the campus with vibrant energy.
Principal Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava praised the students’ efforts, stating that the Annual Sports Day offers a platform for students to engage in healthy competition, build teamwork, and above all, enjoy themselves. The day concluded with an entertainment segment and an award ceremony recognizing outstanding performances and sportsmanship.
Mr. Imran Ahmed (PTI) expressed heartfelt thanks to the distinguished guests and participants. The event was coordinated by sports teachers Ms. Nisha Kumari Sharma, Mr. Imran Ahmed, and Mr. Sahil, along with Ms. Madhu Bala (NCC Teacher). Kalash Jamwal and Aarav Mahajan, Sports Captains, successfully anchored the entire program
