Hindi/Urdu Language Week

Model Academy organized a Hindi/Urdu Language Week for students from classes I to X, aimed at fostering linguistic diversity and encouraging students to embrace multilingualism. The event sought to broaden students' horizons and instill a love for their mother languages.
Students enthusiastically participated in various categories, including:
Kavita Vachan (Poetry Recitation)
Patra Charitra Chitran (Character Portrayal)
Ekanki (One-Act Play)
Vaad Vivaad (Debate)
The participants showcased their talents with joy and confidence. Primary wing students excelled in portraying various poets, poetesses, and writers, bringing these literary figures to life. For students in classes VIII to X, the Vaad Vivaad (debate) was held in their respective classrooms, allowing them to engage in meaningful discussions.
Ms. Asha Chowdhary, Hindi teacher, delivered an introduction on the significance of the Hindi and Urdu languages, emphasizing their cultural importance. Ms. Zahida Akhtar, Urdu teacher, presented the vote of thanks, encouraging everyone to continue promoting their mother tongues and appreciate the beauty of Hindi and Urdu.
Mr. Pramod Kumar Shrivastava, Principal, congratulated both students and teachers for their hard work and dedication throughout the event. Mr. J.K. Dhiman, Vice Principal, applauded the students' performances and urged them to develop strong reading habits.
The successful organization of Language Week was coordinated by the Newton House and the Hindi and Urdu teaching teams, along with Ms. Nisha Arora, CCA Convener, and Ms. Neetu Bhardwaj, CCA Co-Convener.
