Mathematical Crusade
In an effort to lay a strong foundation of mathematical skills among the students, Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER organised the mathematical crusade for students of classes 1st to XIIth recently. The event aimed at making mathematics enthusiasts understand, use and appreciate mathematics in their daily lives.
Taking the celebration as an opportunity, budding mathematicians from the school showcased their knowledge of mathematical concepts, thinking, analytical and application skills by presenting conceptual knowledge of math in a form of power point presentation, quiz, mental maths and flipped classroom.
In this connection a special assembly was also organised in which students enacted the role of famous mathematicians, highlighting their contribution in the field of maths.
Principal and Vice Principal congratulated the students and expressed their appreciation towards the hardworking maths department and its diligent students. Overall an enriching event with several mathematical intricacies tested for students as well teachers.
