Students competed in various indoor and outdoor sports such as Tug of War, Table Tennis, Chess and Carom. The winners were awarded with certificates and medals of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Adit Gupta Joint Director MIER encouraged the students to play hard to excel at the national level. He also emphasized the necessity to develop a spirit of true sportsmanship among all students. The whole programme was co-ordinated by Mrs.Usha Chunni Sports officer of Model Academy.

The main purpose of this activity was to test their knowledge and inculcate interest towards Science and to make them realize the importance of science and technology. Different groups were formed in the class and quizzes were conducted on different themes.

About 50 students from classes 6th to 9th enthusiastically participated in the competition and expressed their creativity by making thought provoking paintings to save earth. Mrs. Poonam Gupta, Convener Eco Club coordinated this activity. Dr. Chitra Mishra, Principal emphasized the need to preserve earth. The best entries were displayed on the notices boards in the school.

House Masters, President and Vice President each from Newton House, Einstein House, Edison House, and Darwin House were formally inducted during the ceremony. 
The elected House Masters along with their team of office bearers took the pledge to up hold the values of honesty, loyalty, integrity, perform their duties to the best of their abilities and honour the trust bestowed upon them. Dr. Adit Gupta honoured the newly inducted members with badges and sash. He congratulated them and emphasized on the need of discharging responsibilities with utmost sincerity and diligence. The Principal, Dr. Chitra Mishra, exhorted the students to develop the qualities of leadership in themselves and uphold the dignity of school through hard work and co-operation. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
