When our school 'Model Academy', Jammu was born in 1936, we did not have such privileges and facilities during that time, but the fact that we have survived eight long decades speak volumes about the strong foundations, value systems and beliefs upheld for so long to carry the great legacy forward into 21st century. The credit of all this goes to our revered founders Late Sh.H.L.Gupta and Late Mrs Shanti Gupta who worked very hard on the principles of regularity, punctuality and discipline to carve a niche in the private education sector during those times. The school enjoys the proud and unique distinction of being an institution with rich history, traditions and achievements. More than 30,000 students have received education since 1936. Our Alumni are scattered all over the world and have risen in life to occupy highest offices with honour, respect and status.
We at Model Academy are pioneers in providing ICT based teaching learning facilities which have seamlessly blended the benefits of traditional teaching with modern educational requirements, thereby creating a sound learning environment for wholesome, comprehensive and effective growth and development of students. Our school is linked with several national and international organizations and institutions.
