Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great fervour and exhuberance at Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER.
The programme commenced with the garlanding and offering floral tributes to the great educationist and former President of India Dr Sarvappali Radhakrishnan.
To mark the celebration, an assemblage of events took place ranging from guru vandana, group songs and dance performances. Students and teachers from both the wings of MIER took part in the celebration.
The programme saw a unique blend of teachers and students performing together on the theme ''Together we can make a difference. ''Students expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their teachers for their unflinching support in shaping up their personality and facilitating them to become capable and responsible individuals.
Dr Renu Gupta in her address appreciated the efforts of all the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.
Dr Adit Gupta lauded the teachers for their exemplary contribution in the growth of the school.
Dr Srivastava and Mr Dhiman extolled the role of teachers in students’ life.
The programme was conceptualised and coordinated by Mrs.Manju Vali along with the cultural department of the institution.
